Abstract :Higher requirements have been put forward in the design of seal parts due to the enhancement in thestrength of diesel parts resulting from increased injection pressure. The seal seat of a certain high pressure fuelpump fractured during cyclic endurance test. In this paper, through failure analysis and CAE analysis, it confirmsthat the above fracture is caused by unreasonable design of seal seat. Therefore, the structure of seal seat isoptimized to reduce maximum stress of seal seat. CA
